Frysian Clouds

Impressive clouds over Frysian Landscape today.

I headed back home from the office to beat the traffic jams today. During a quick stop I spotted these poles which are used by fishermen. I think they can be part of a nice art work. When produced I'll let you know.
Or take a shot yourselve, the location is provided. Look at the sea side of the monument on the Afsluitdijk for the poles :) Now I head home to finish my work.

Greyscale & Horizontal rain

Heavy rain, wind and 7 degree C. Not what we wish for this time of the year. Today our country officially is in a recession, maybe that's influencing the weather? It's beginning break up a bit further on the road...the sky I mean. Have a great day anyway!

While we wait for sub zero conditions needed for some ice fun we can enjoy the seperations in the scenery.

This pig considers herselve to be a lucky one. Our local butcher was too busy (xmass you know) so she has to stay until next year.

Rooster in old barn

Today I visited a lovely old farm in my neighborhood. In a small old barn these chickens and rooster where hiding from the cold weather outside. The rooster is a bit protective on a normal day. Today he posed like a model. It's like time stood still in this area. Therefore I choose a sepia effect on the photo's below. Enjoy!

Stars

I'm lucky to live on a location where the light pollution is not a problem when shooting the stars. I followed the  steps on this post and used the startrails tool. Check this video if you like to learn more. My first result:
